Privacy Policy

AeroLedger ("the App") is a personal finance management tool designed for airline pilots. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our App.

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials. Authentication is handled securely through Supabase. Financial Data You Enter: Salary details, flight hours, budget entries, debt records, savings goals, and other financial information you voluntarily enter into the App. This data is yours and is entered solely by you. Device Information: We do not collect device identifiers, IP addresses, or usage analytics. The App does not include any third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

Your data is used exclusively to provide the App’s functionality: • Calculate salary breakdowns based on your pay structure • Track budgets, debts, and savings goals • Sync your data across your devices via secure cloud storage • Send local notifications you have opted into (e.g., payment reminders) We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

Local Storage: Your financial data is stored on-device using Apple's SwiftData framework and is protected by your device's built-in security (passcode, Face ID/Touch ID). Cloud Storage: If you create an account, your data is synced to Supabase (hosted on AWS). Data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encryption. Row-Level Security (RLS) policies ensure that only you can access your data. We do not store or have access to your Face ID or Touch ID biometric data. Biometric authentication is handled entirely by Apple's LocalAuthentication framework on your device.

The App uses the following third-party services: • Supabase: For user authentication and cloud data storage. Supabase’s privacy policy applies to data stored on their servers. No other third-party services, analytics tools, or advertising networks are integrated into the App.

You have the right to: • Access: View all data stored in the App at any time. • Export: Create local backups of your data in JSON format. • Delete: Delete your account and all associated cloud data. Local data is erased when you sign out. • Correction: Edit any financial data you have entered. To delete your account and all cloud data, use the "Delete Account" option in Settings.

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all cloud-stored data is permanently removed from our servers. Local data is cleared upon sign-out.

The App is not intended for children under 17. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 17.

The App may request permission to send local notifications for payment reminders, budget warnings, and savings goal milestones. You can enable or disable notification categories in Settings. No push notification service or external server is used — all notifications are scheduled locally on your device.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
